Input devices of the computer

Input devices of the computer are used to provide data and control signal to a computer. We enter raw data for processing in a computer. 

There are given some types of input devices.

1-Keyboard

Input devices of the computer are keyboards, often used alongside a mouse. Keyboards are a common device which is represented as the layout of buttons. There are many types of computer Standard, Laptop-size, Flexible Keyboards, Handheld, Thumb-sized, and Multinational Keyboard. We explain some keys on the keyboard. 

Function Keys
Today’s PC keyboards have 12 function keys, F1 through F12.
Numeric Keys
Mostly computer keyboard has 17 numeric keys but apple keyboard has 18 numeric keys.
Number Keys
Ten number keys on the computer keyboard. If the keyboard also has a numeric keypad (1 through 0), then twenty number keys on the keyboard.
Alphabetic Keys
English computer keyboard has 26 letters.

2-Computer Mouse

A computer mouse is handheld input devices of the computer that controls a computer screen cursor. Mouse shape is elliptical and corded. Some mouse in integrated features assigned with different commands.
A-Wireless Mouse
Wireless mouse is used without any wire or any cord. It works with radio frequency to transformation with the computer.
B- Trackball Mouse
The mouse works as you rotate the ball on the mouse, which can move with the help of thumb

3- Light Pen input device of the computer

First light pen was created in 1995. A light pen is an input device of computer form of a light-sensitive wand. A user displayed objects with help of light input device. Light pen work with any CRT-based display.

5-Scanner input device

The scanner is an input device that documents scan images and pages. Scanner converted digital format after scanned documents. Most scanners are a flatbed device, which means a flat scanning surface. Some types of scanner are a sheet-fed scanner, which can accept paper type documents. While sheeted scanner does not scan books. Some scanner contains an automatic document feeder, which multiple pages scanned in a sequence.
Computer software programs work in conjunction with a scanner. Maximum scanners contain basic scanning software that allows the user to configure and important scans. Scanner plug-in installed for Adobe Photoshop. Software scanner includes OCR can scan text document into a digital file that opened and edited by a word processor.

6-Microphone 

The microphone is also an input device of the computer and sound input device of a computer that stored data in a digital form. The microphone is used for different applications such as adding sound to multimedia presentation. A microphone is a device that captures audio converting sound waves into an electrical signal. This signal converted to a digital signal. Here are some types of microphones that are input devices of the computer.
